How to cooperate?
When setting up the local branch, there are basically four main questions that we need to agree: brand, marketing, local modules for borrower screening and positioning (product).

White Label or CashMarket?
White Label is your local copy of CashMarket platform, with your own label, colors, style and preferred languages. When using your brand, your role is bigger, you will be responsible for i.e. user acquisition - funds collecting and borrower acquisition. You are also the main stakeholder responsible of ensuring that we are borrowing our funds to trusted users only - furthermore, you must invest also your own funds.
CashMarket brand comes with lower entry barrier: user acquisition is done by both parties, and most importantly, big part of the funds pool is already there to start with. In this scenario your role is mostly marketing: creating the brand awareness in the territory, but also help to build borrower screening - making sure that we borrow to trusted users only.
Both models include localized modules such as fully translated UX, local user identification and AML/KYC tools, borrower screening engine in where the local modules are plugged. UX and user flow modifications are also done and the level of customization will be analysed case by case.
Product customisation means setting the product to fit local playground: we must know the competition, and particularly insights of their loan products. Our strentght lies on easiness of use, fast delivery and effective cost structure (local business can be run with a team of 2-3 people). In addition, the nature of the business, P2P, can be counted as a strenght. This set of strenghts optimally fit to operate small loan amounts, as competition is struggling with high user acquisition cost that makes it difficult to run small loan amounts profitably. UA cost seems to be very low on CashMarket's case (based on our experiences in Finland), which we believe is due to the ethical marketplace service image (interests go to regular citizens).
So, we must decide loan amounts (optimally under 1000€), loan duration (optimamally 3-6 months), instalment loan or credit line, and most importantly, rates and loan costs. In Finland we use rate between 10-20%, depending on user star classification, and costs of 0.01% per day, counting 7.20€ on 400€ loan. Additionally, we'll get revenue from reminders, which are 5€ each.
Effective marketing is key to the successfull balance between availability of funds and the number of borrowers. Excessive funds in relation to borrowers creates unsatisfied investors. Similarly, insufficient funds creates unsatisfied borrowers. We need to solve this issue by reacting fast to the evolving dynamics - with an effective media mix.
